Do you offer virtual and in-person psychiatric appointments? Yes, we offer virtual psychiatric appointments for clients across New York and Florida. In-person visits are available only in Buffalo, NY, and the surrounding areas after completing an initial evaluation virtually. After the virtual evaluation, in-person appointments are offered on-demand, based on patient volume and scheduling availability.

How often will I need to be seen? Follow-up frequency depends on your individual plan. Most patients are seen monthly, though some may require more or less frequent visits based on their clinical needs.

What insurance plans do you accept? We accept many major commercial insurance plans. Please see our homepage for the list of currently accepted insurance plans. Note: We currently do not accept any Medicaid-sponsored plans.

What ages do you treat? We provide psychiatric care across the lifespan, beginning at age 8, with no upper age limit. Treatment plans are tailored to meet the developmental and clinical needs of each individual.

Are you accepting new patients? Yes, we are currently accepting new patients in New York and Florida for psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy. Please note: We currently do not prescribe controlled substances in the state of Florida.

Do you offer therapy or just medication management? We offer medication management with brief supportive therapy. If you need more extensive psychotherapy, we can refer you to trusted therapists in your area.

How do I book an appointment? You can schedule an appointment through our website or by calling our office at 716-201-0180.

Can you coordinate care with my therapist or primary care provider? Yes, with your written consent, we can collaborate with your therapist, primary care provider, or any other specialists involved in your care to ensure a holistic and well-coordinated treatment approach.

How much is the cost for self-pay patients? The standard fee for an initial evaluation is $150, and follow-up appointments are $95. We encourage all self-pay patients to complete our Income Inquiry Form to determine if they qualify for sliding scale pricing based on income.

What is your cancellation policy? We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Missed appointments or late cancellations may incur a fee. Details are provided in your intake paperwork.

What can I expect during my first appointment? During your initial psychiatric evaluation, we’ll discuss your current concerns, medical and mental health history, and any symptoms you’re experiencing. This helps us develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, brief supportive therapy, or referrals for other services.

Are services confidential? Yes. All services are confidential and HIPAA-compliant. We only share your information with others when you provide written consent, unless required by law.
